Demonstrations Familiarize Sellers With Our Seat And Luggage Product Lines

Anaheim-show

Recently, Saddlemen's Jerry Beaty represented us at the Anaheim - Pala MX "Super Showcase" at the Astor Classics Event Center in Anaheim, California. Organized by two of the nation's largest motorsports products distributors, Drag Specialties and Parts Unlimited, the Super Showcase hosted about 30 manufacturers of a wide range of motorcycle parts and accessories, and gave us the opportunity to show our products to the people who get our seats and luggage out to the riding public.

Besides being a great opportunity to increase interest in Saddlemen products, it also lets us inform customer service professionals about the specifics of our seats and luggage, so they can better assist customers and potential buyers.

Jerry tells us there was excellent interest in the Saddlemen line, and that he was able to pass along lots of helpful information to sales representatives and store staff.

We at Saddlemen are proud to work with top-notch retailers and distributors across North America. We encourage the riding public to visit their local dealerships and motorsports stores to purchase Saddlemen motorcycle luggage and seats.

Champion Racer And Father Of Saddlemen-Sponsored Flat-Trackers Passes Away At 48

We at Saddlemen wish to express our condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Randy Texter, who passed away on August 30th. With our long-standing connections to racing, and our racing sponsorships, a number of the Saddlemen "family" had known Randy for many years.

Randy was a former championship racer, winning the 1990 AMA U.S. Twin Sports championship in road racing, and for many years was the owner of Pennsylvania's Lancaster Harley-Davidson.

He was also the father of two young flat track racers we have the privilege to sponsor, Cory Texter and Shayna Texter. Our sympathies go out to them, and all of Randy's family.

Huntington Beach’s Todd’s Cycles Teams With Saddlemen To Create Inaugural Saddle For New Collection

11885-0801-0579-posting1

Saddlemen is proud to unveil the first of an ongoing series of exciting cooperative projects with top-of-the-line motorcycle builders and designers to produce innovative and stylish new seats.

Our first effort, the Slammed Pro Tour combines the proven, popular Pro Tour seat design with refinements and the styling experience of Todd Silicato, founder of Huntington Beach, California’s Todd’s Cycles. Todd sculpted the seat to drop down into the bike for a low riding position that also helps the rider touch the ground with confidence at stops. The aim – to create the ultimate low-profile, bagger seat that’s acceptable for touring.

As with the standard Pro Tour, this comfortable seat is made with Saddlemen’s famous combination of progressive density foam and SaddleGel™ in the seating areas, easing tailbone pressure and improving circulation for a smooth, comfortable ride.

For more product details about the Slammed Pro Tour saddle CLICK HERE.

We feel the new Signature Seats will prove to be an exciting addition to the Saddlemen product line. We look forward to proudly showing what our expertise and technology can do, when teamed up with well-respected designers and builders, to make riding more comfortable, stylish and enjoyable.

A Saddlemen Tip Of The Cap To The People We Worked Alongside At Our Booths

Black-Hills-Event-Tents-2010

JP-Event-Combo-2010

As a last mention of our great experience at this year's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, we want to express our thanks to the ownership and staff at the great shops that hosted or displays - both J & P Cycles in Sturgis, and close by at Rapid City's Black Hills Harley-Davidson.

Drag-Personnel-Black-Hills-2010

Saddlemen's experts on hand in Rapid City, Gary Smith and Jerry Beaty at Black Hills Harley-Davidson, got great support from the staff affiliated with the Drag Specialties display. Among them, (from left to right) Gary Ellis, their truck driver extraordinaire, Mike Faulkner, Regional Sales Manager, Adam Nystrom, sales representative for North Dakota, and Earl "Sy" Seiler, Drag Specialties Representative for southeast Michigan.

Jay-Brainard.

Good neighbors are truly appreciated, and right next to our booth in the Drag Specialties tent at Black Hills Harley-Davidson were the good folks from Jaybrake, including Jay Brainard himself, at left.

Again, our thanks go out the staff and ownership at both Black Hills Harley-Davidson, and to the Sturgis location of J & P Cycles. It was another great rally this year... "Keep 'em coming!"

We'll be looking forward to being at Sturgis again next year, answering questions and proudly showing what our expertise and technology can do to make riding more enjoyable. We hope to see you there!
