Joker Machine’s Modified Speedway Bike Looks To Break 30-Year-Old Record
The Joker Machine / Cody Racing / JRM Bonneville Bike will be competing at the BUB Motorcycle Speed Trails August 30th through September 3rd at the Bonneville Salt Flats. This is an AMA & FIM Sanctioned event. Billy Hamill will be the rider, running in the MODIFIED ALTERED FUEL 500 CLASS M-AF. The AMA record for this class is a 145.22 set in 1978 on a Yamaha.
Saddlemen is proud to have provided a custom-made seat for this machine, and hopes to add another speed record sponsorship to our legacy.

Versa-Mount Under-Seat Yoke and Harness Mounting System

The easy-to-use Versa-Mount yoke and harness system fits under the passenger area of two-up seats, allowing the attachment of a sissy bar bag, rack bag or seat bag to a motorcycle without the use of a sissy bar or rack. We Are There To Celebrate The Big Illinois Dealership’s Eighth Anniversary
Saddlemen’s Gary Smith visited Chi-Town Harley-Davidson in Tinley Park, Illinois for their August 15th Eighth Birthday Party. The Chicago spirit is definately strong at Chi-Town Harley-Davidson. Above the main entrance The Blues Brothers are quite prominent. We’re wondering if that bike is officially a Blues Bagger?

We hope he was an award winner, and turns out to be a proud parent for years to come, as opposed to gracing the refrigerated section of one of our fine local supermarkets…

Saddlemen Luggage Lines Prove Big Sellers At Motorcycling’s Biggest Event
Again this summer, Saddlemen continued its strong yearly showing at the Sturgis Rally, selling and installing our motorcycle luggage at two locations: J&P Cycles in Sturgis, and at Black Hills Harley-Davidson in Rapid City.
Our sales and customer service representatives got a chance to meet riders from across the continent, and show off the style and features of our popular luggage lines. Above, our “Engineer Bill” helps explain the installation and use of our versatile new BR3400 Sissy Bar and Back Seat Bag. Other big sellers were our BR4100 Back Seat Bag (center) and our range of Sissy Bar Bags. Below, from one of our roadside displays, are riders putting on their new Saddlemen luggage, a sissy bar bag, and our TR3300DE Deluxe Rack Bag.
Sturgis is also a great opportunity to hit the open road and do some sightseeing. Our guys got the chance to visit Mount Rushmore, and experience a major (golf ball sized) hail storm… It is the Northern Plains, after all.
