Maryland’s Old Glory Harley-Davidson Host Bikes-And-Bands Event

Old Glory Harley-Davidson

On April 24th, Saddlemen paid a visit to Old Glory Harley-Davidson in Laurel, Maryland for their big Glory Days Rally. Big crowds showed up, and we were happy to see lots of interest and sales of Saddlemen products. (Above) Saddlemen’s Director of Sales, Stan Alicki, thanks a customer for the purchase of a BR3400 Back Seat & Sissy bar Bag at the big Saddlemen luggage display inside the dealership.

Another “thank you” goes out to the people at Drag Specialties, who featured a great looking Saddlemen display in their big pavillion tent (seen above, with Brian, parts manager there at Old Glory Harley-Davidson).

Seat And Luggage Demo Draws Enthusiastic Interest From River Run Attendees

Saddlemen at Pioneer Lot in Laughlin

This year’s Laughlin River Run in Nevada, proved to be a great opportunity to show off the Saddlemen product line to the riding public. 2010 was the 28th annual River Run, or as it called in the “fine print,” the American Motorcycle Association Southwest Regional Road Riding Convention. We set up our display booth right outside of the popular Pioneer Hotel, where we kept busy talking to a constant stream of visitors.

We also brought along examples of our innovative saddlebags and our famous motorcycle seats for product presentations to the public.

Look For Our Representatives At Our Booth

Saddlemen goes to Laughlin River Run

This year, we will be running a demonstration booth at the Laughlin River Run from April 22nd through the 25th outside of the popular Pioneer Hotel at 2200 South Casino Drive.

Our booth will focus on product information and advice for riders interested in our seats and luggage. We will not be taking product to sell, but we will be able to handle sales that will then ship from our factory. Feel free to ask our staff at the booth about what we can do.

Saddlemen Products A Big Hit At Nevada Shop’s “Tenth Birthday” Open House

Road Rider of Reno

Recently, our road sales manager and product line specialist, Gary Smith, visited Road Rider Of Reno for their big ten-year anniversary Open House. While there, Gary put on a seminar for the owners and staff on Saddlemen products.

Gary send us several photos from the event. At left, above, in-store music was provided by a Bluegrass band that includes one of the shop’s owners, Zeke Griffin (at right, facing the rest of the band). The center image shows Drag Specialties’ and Parts Unlimited’s Tony Ayalo (wearing the blue shop style shirt) giving a product demonstration.

Road Rider Of Reno is located right off U.S. Highway 395, next to the city’s airport and is located in a powersports mall.

Gary tells us that the folks there described our saddlebags as the shop’s “go-to” bags.

At Saddlemen we are proud to show what our expertise, craftsmanship and technology can do to make riding better. Keep an eye out for us across the country. We have representatives touring across country throughout the year.

Safety-Related Links On The Web

At recent riding and store events, our sales staff got the chance to speak with members of the California Highway Patrol, and the California Motorcycle Safety Program about the latest efforts to make riding safer, especially considering the growth of motorcycle use for daily commuting.

Both the California Motorcycle Safety Program, in our home state, and the national Motorcycle Safety Foundation, provide a wealth of information and the latest safety-related news for riders and prospective riders.

One of the handiest links on the web comes from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, providing a locator for basic and advanced riding courses across the country.

Traveling out-of-state? This link spells out the nation’s helmet and vehicle laws state by state.

Here at Saddlemen, we believe highway safety is a “two-way street.” With this in mind, we have been quite pleased to see organizations, such as the California Highway Patrol, work to increase awareness of motorcycle safety among the general driving public, with efforts like California’s freeway message board campaign to alert commuters to stay aware of the state’s motorcyclists sharing the road.

At Saddlemen we are proud to show what our expertise, craftsmanship and technology can do to make riding better… and encourage everyone to stay alert and safe on the road.

Our Comfort Pads Bring The Benefits Of SaddleGel To Any Motorcycle Seat

Saddlegel™ Comfort Pads make any motorcycle seat into a touring seat. A state-of-the-art material, brought over from the medical industry, that will never freeze, crack, dry out, leak or melt, Saddlegel™ is designed to evenly distribute a rider’s weight across the full surface of the pad, eliminating annoying pressure points and “hot spots” for uncommon comfort. Our gel pads also provide excellent shock absorption and insulation from vibration. Saddlemen gel pads are available in a variety of cover types and sizes to fit most touring motorcycles, sport bikes, cruisers and even off-road bikes and ATVs.

Our Saddlegel™ Pads are available in three standard sizes, made to work with the widest range of machines: Extra Large (12.5″ length x 15.5″ rear width x 8.5″ front width), Large (10.5″ length x 14″ rear width x 8″ front width) and Medium (9.5″ length x 8″ rear width x 6″ front width).

Saddlemen Original Soft-Stretch Cover Gel Pads

Saddlemen Synthetic Sheepskin Cover Gel Pads

Available in our three standard sizes.

Saddlemen 3-D Molded Gel Pads

Our Tech Memory Foam Seat Pads helps pad conform quickly and comfortably to rider’s anatomy. Center “ergo channel” reduces pressure to prevent numbness and discomfort. Includes exclusive air canals for increased cooling and breathability. “Comfort foam” top layer maximizes SaddleGel™ efficiency. Features soft, resilient, non-slip underside. Available in our three standard sizes.

Saddlemen Pillow Top SaddleGel™ Pads

Saddlemen™ Pillow Top Seat Pads have a nostalgic button-tufted style. They feature an extra-soft layer of pillow foam on top of Saddlemen’s famous SaddleGel™. Features non-slip underside. These comfortable, strap-down gel seat pads look perfect on top of most cruisers. Available in our three standard sizes.

All of our external gel pads feature our quick-disconnect harness system, which mounts over the seat and remains in place when pad is removed.
