The Saddlemen crew continues to make its rounds heading into late May and June. Between dealer open houses, special bike shows and a grand opening, our guys on the road will be bouncing around mainly through the South and Midwest over the next several weeks.

These open houses and other events provide a great opportunity to meet with the dealers that carry our products, and also gives us a chance to talk directly to our customers as they browse through huge parking lot sales and celebrate everything from grand openings to anniversaries. There’s no better way to learn about our products than by holding them in your hands and talking to our guys about everything from materials and construction to personal experiences on road trips.

We're At Salem Harley-Davidson For The Big Weekend Rally, With A Northwest Flair

Running this weekend, from Thursday, July 14th through Sunday, July 17th, we'll be at Oregon's Salem Harley-Davidson for the big "Good Vibrations" motorcycle rally and charity event, going on in the Salem and Keizer area. The weekend offers a wide range of activities, from NHRA racing, live music, winery visits and a parade and poker run.

Gary Smith will be representing Saddlemen at Salem H-D, demonstrating our product line of motorcycle seats and luggage, and available for expert insight on choosing the right Saddlemen gear, along with helpful hints and installation advice. We're there with the well-known Drag Specialties truck, and their traveling aftermarket products display, featuring elite aftermarket manufacturers.

This weekend, starting on Thursday, July 7th and running through Sunday, July 10th, Saddlemen will be at J&L Harley-Davidson in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in conjunction with the big "Hot Harley Nights" annual charity event.

Our travelling product expert, "Road Warrior" Gary Smith will be on hand to demonstrate Saddlemen items and offer top-notch advice before and after purchases. J&L Harley-Davidson is a BIG seller of Saddlemen gear, so there will be plenty of selection available.

Annual Celebration At Giant Aftermarket Parts And Accessories Superstore's Anamosa Headquarters

This Saturday and Sunday, June 25th and 26th, Saddlemen representatives will be on hand at J&P Cycles' Anamosa, Iowa world headquarters for their big annual Open House. We're there as part of the the Drag Specialties traveling aftermarket products display, along with over 80 other invited manufacturers.

Our experts, including our trusted product "guru" Gary Smith will be available for demonstrations and consultation to match riders with the best Saddlemen item for their style and needs. And if there is a perfect location to find the widest range of merchandise for your bike, (especially Saddlemen items!), then J&P has got to be it!

A Great Time At "Heritage Harley Day"

This past Saturday, June 11th, our "road warrior" product expert, Gary Smith, was on hand at Heritage Harley-Davidson, with the traveling Drag Specialties display truck. Gary got to meet and show off Saddlemen gear to lots of area riders. At left is Bill Thorn, owner of a new BR1800 back seat and sissy bar bag, pictured with friend David Weller.

During his years on the front lines of customer service, Gary has assisted thousands of Saddlemen owners with installation and usage questions. His words of wisdom can help avoid problems and supply hints for getting the most out of our gear. For example, with our Back Seat & Sissy Bar Bags, like shown here, Gary has a couple of recommendations, "When installing any of our bags, always be sure to keep the mounting straps clear of the exhaust and wheels. Also, on the mounting straps for the sissy bar bags - they do not have to be pulled REALLY tight. It's best to leave a little slack in the strap."

Asheboro Dealership Hosts Celebration Honoring Major Milestone

This weekend, Friday, May 27th and Saturday, May 28th, Saddlemen's travelling product ambassador, Gary Smith, will be at the big 50th Anniversary Open House at Cox's Harley-Davidson, in Asheboro. He'll be offering product demonstrations and advice as part of Drag Specialties travelling display of aftermarket motorcycle gear.

Saddlemen's expert "road warrior", Gary Smith recently spent a couple of days mid-month at McDaniel's Harley-Davidon, in conjunction with the traveling manufacturers display run by Drag Specialties, one of the major distributors that provide Saddlemen products to retailers.

Gary reports a great response. It was a great opportunity to meet the area's riders and show them the features and advantages of Saddlemen gear.
