Saddlemen Visits Major Chicagoland Dealership’s Annual Celebration

Saddlemen’s travelling sales specialist, technical expert, and valued “road warrior,” Gary Smith was on hand on Saturday, May 22nd for Joliet, Illinois area Conrad Harley-Davidson’s big Spring Open House.

The sales folks at Conrad’s put out a large (and popular) Saddlemen luggage display, showing a wide, representative range of our products in cooperation with the traveling event truck from Drag Specialties, one of Saddlemen’s major distributors.

Gary was available for demonstrations and feedback, got to meet lots of riders and reports that Saddlemen items were selling great!

Conrad Harley-Davidson is located in the Joliet area, in Shorewood, Illinois, right off of U.S. Interstate Highway 55.

Major Wisconsin H-D Dealership Hosts Three-Day Weekend Rally

Recently, Saddlemen’s Director of Sales, Stan Alicki, paid a visit to Kutter Harley-Davidson, at their Janesville, Wisconsin location for their Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Rally, held over the weekend of May 7th-9th.

Besides the rally, the people at Kutter held an open house, and hosted the traveling Drag Specialties display truck.

Kutter Harley-Davidson operates two dealership locations, one in Janesville , Wisconsin, and another in Monroe , Wisconsin.

Saddlemen congratulates Kutter Harley-Davidson on their silver anniversary, and wishes them many years of continued success.

Maryland’s Old Glory Harley-Davidson Host Bikes-And-Bands Event

On April 24th, Saddlemen paid a visit to Old Glory Harley-Davidson in Laurel, Maryland for their big Glory Days Rally. Big crowds showed up, and we were happy to see lots of interest and sales of Saddlemen products. (Above) Saddlemen’s Director of Sales, Stan Alicki, thanks a customer for the purchase of a BR3400 Back Seat & Sissy bar Bag at the big Saddlemen luggage display inside the dealership.

Another “thank you” goes out to the people at Drag Specialties, who featured a great looking Saddlemen display in their big pavillion tent (seen above, with Brian, parts manager there at Old Glory Harley-Davidson).

Attendance was excellent, and the rally featured lots of food and vendors, as well as a free concert with Molly Hatchet and Citizens Band Radio.

Saddlemen Products A Big Hit At Nevada Shop’s “Tenth Birthday” Open House

Recently, our road sales manager and product line specialist, Gary Smith, visited Road Rider Of Reno for their big ten-year anniversary Open House. While there, Gary put on a seminar for the owners and staff on Saddlemen products.

Gary send us several photos from the event. At left, above, in-store music was provided by a Bluegrass band that includes one of the shop’s owners, Zeke Griffin (at right, facing the rest of the band). The center image shows Drag Specialties’ and Parts Unlimited’s Tony Ayalo (wearing the blue shop style shirt) giving a product demonstration.

Road Rider Of Reno is located right off U.S. Highway 395, next to the city’s airport and is located in a powersports mall.

Gary tells us that the folks there described our saddlebags as the shop’s “go-to” bags.

Our friends at Black Hawk Customs will soon be starting their “Southern USA AAFES Exchange Tour,” paying visits to Army and Air Force bases coast-to-coast this spring. At Saddlemen we are proud to team with Black Hawk Customs to offer our seats and luggage to our military personnel at the convenience of on-base locations.

The following information about the tour is straight from the folks at Black Hawk Customs.

Black Hawk Customs will be visiting 38 AAFES Exchanges between March 29th and June 3rd, 2010. Our truck and trailer will be positioned in front of each Exchange (or in the parking lot depending upon available space) at each location. We’ll have multiple displays and a completely accessorized (Saddlemen, Memphis Shades, Cobra, Pro Armor, Küryakyn, Jardine, and more) motorcycle on display from 10:30 a.m. till 2:30 p.m. on the specified date listed below.

Come on out, pick up some free literature and enter to win raffle prizes at each location. See some of the latest products available through Black Hawk Customs on the Exchange Online Mall and some of the PPE available inside the Exchange stores. The major brands that we’ll have on display are: Saddlemen, Bassani Xhaust, Roland Sands Designs, K&N, Memphis Shades, DP Brakes and Clutches, LeoVince, Air Force Blaster, and Icon.

And if you’re at Nellis AFB on May 29th, you really should come out because we’ll have Eric Ellis the Editor of Hot Bike Magazine, Saddlemen, Bassani Xhaust, and other’s joining us. Every motorcycle at Nellis AFB that comes out to see us will have their bike photographed and some of the bikes are guaranteed by Eric Ellis to be in the following issue of Hot Bike Magazine. So come out, meet and greet, and let’s go for a ride.

Two Staffers Ride Out To Desert Dealership

On a recent Friday, Saddlemen’s Stan Alicki and Jerry Beaty hit the road to pay a weekday visit to our friends out at Palm Springs Harley-Davidson, long-time sellers of Saddlemen products. With the weather getting chilly at higher elevations, the guys bundled up and rode out east.
